MSP Announce DUI Roadblock this Thanksgiving Weekend

If you get caught in a Sobriety check point this upcoming holiday weekend remember the following:

  1. Be polite and respectful
  2. You do not have to answer questions about where you are coming from and what have you had to drink
  3. You have a right to refuse field sobriety test; such as the one legged stand and nine-step walk and turn
  4. You have a right to refuse the chemical breath test; However there will be a license suspension for six months if this is a first, three years for a second and five years for a third
